Italrobot BWA Srl: innovation and automation

Dal Maschio Srl, founded in 1829, began focusing on innovative solutions in industrial automation in 1973.

Over the years, it has developed strong technical, commercial, and production expertise, becoming an international benchmark for the quality and high level of customization of its systems, with a new name: Italrobot BWA Srl.

Our history confirms a specialized evolution in industrial innovation through transitions across the following sectors:

  • plastic processing (injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion);
  • systems for handling wood, metal, and glass;
  • end-of-line solutions for light-fast and heavy-large boxes and crates.

Foundry for agricultural tools

Dal Maschio begins his business working in the field of agricultural tools.

Vehicles repair workshop

The company becomes a mechanical workshop for the repair and maintenance of the first vehicles in the area.

Machineries production for broomcorn harvesting

In the first years following WWII, Dal Maschio begins to produce machines for broomcorn harvesting, which were used for the manufacture of brooms for various realities, crafts or not, then present in the territory.

Production and sale of automation machineries for broomcorn

Efficient support services, the high-quality standard and high-performing sales organization allowed to export the product to 5 continents classifying the company as a leader.

The first Italian robot for the plastics industry is presented

At the beginning of the 70s, some broom components start to be produced with plastic through injection molding process. The company undertakes a new production process proposing its own automation system. In the 1973 trade fair of the sector, the extractor MDM1 was presented, the first ever in Italy.

Dal Maschio Brasil

In 1999 starts the activity of the international headquarters of Dal Maschio Brasil, a local production company that has been managing the Brazilian market independently since that year. The company produces cartesian manipulators and industrial automation systems, in particular for the injection moulding sector. Currently it’s the only producer in the country.

Dal Maschio Srl and Dal Maschio Mexico

Dal Maschio Srl changes its corporate structure, the Dal Maschio family has 85% of the shares and transforms the company into an innovative Start Up. In the same year, the Dal Maschio Messico (Negimas) company was founded and, in collaboration with the local agent, manages spare parts and assistance for the Mexican market, where old robots are also refurbished.

Dal Maschio USA

Dal Maschio USA is founded in Florida and becomes the center of spare parts and assistance for the American and Canadian market.

Italrobot BWA

Italrobot BWA is founded, acquiring the Dal Maschio brand and staff to continue with specialized automation in the plastics sector and enter new markets for end-of-line solutions and plastic recycling. The new concept is to serve as a consultancy in automation, providing comprehensive solutions to meet clients’ needs across various industrial sectors.

Promoting our “Made in Italy” brand worldwide also involves embracing new commercial challenges with both Italian and foreign competitors.
